Stone Mulches
General Information:
- If using as a mulch, a weed barrier should be used
- If using as a mulch, stone only needs to be thick enough to cover weed barrier evenly. For most stone mulches this means approximately 1 – 1.5″ thick
- Sold by the Yard (NOT TON) 1 yd = 1 1/2 ton (depending on product)
- Average weight of a yard depending on product is 2500 lbs
- We do NOT load quantities smaller than 1 yard
- Other stone products may be available upon request or can be special ordered in large quantities.
- 2 yard minimum for delivery. Additional delivery charges will apply.
5/8″ Chip Limestone
- Chipped stone with low powder content
- Good for backfilling pipes and retaining walls
- Not recommended as a stone mulch
